JesusFreke Has Stopped Making Builds/Roms And Will Be Missed.

Well if you don't know who JesusFreke is then you still have a lot to learn about the android OS,he is to me and to many the god father of android being the first to build a modded build for android's G1. His builds have set the way for many developers such as TheDude,Justanotherdev,Cyanogen etc... to create builds/Roms and even developers such as my self who create themes for the G1,he also offered help to everyone wanting to learn android and anything he could share with his fans. The reason I created this post was to pay respect to JesusFreke for everything he has done for XDA and all android fans as well if was not for him the G1 would not be what it is today.

So I thank you bro and I wish you the best in what ever you do.

  1. Well, while he may not be doing Roms anymore don't count JesusFreke out of the game in regards to Android in General.

He is still very much a fan of Android and still working on his own projects for Android.

Take smali and Baksmali for example, he is constantly working on these to make improvements.

Never know with JF, he could be working on Top Secret Android Stuff that noone knows about ;) Just never know with him...

At any rate, JF is owed the thanks of any Android user as he has contributed to Android in such ways that everything you have on Android, regarding root and roms (not apps), is a direct result of his work.

Thanks again JF, best mentor, teacher, and, Dare I say, the best Android Dev around.....

Never be able to thank you enough.

  2. He did so much for android, every user of an android phone should be thankful for him. I'm sure eventually he will be forgotten to most users but I will never forget him and wish him the best. I thank him for all he has done!
