Well the guy's at AT&T are working over time to keep up with the Jones buy dropping the second phone running android. The first is the lancaster from HTC which i showed a few days back. Now there is this motorola heron which looks to be there more affordable one of the two. In the specs i seen something about the browser running Internet Explorer 6 which puzzles me being that google now has there own web browser called Chrome which i thought would have fitted the android O.S better.
As much as ATT is a proponent of "proprietary" software, it's not too surprising they include IE6. But truly it makes no sense performance wise. Not much runs faster than Chrome... Google must have all kinds of optional bs to deal with when it comes to plans with carriers. Maybe ATT feels the masses would feel more at home on IE6 and tend to buy it.
